| finally moved |
|
Everyone is now in their new home. The ladies are
on a wonderful farm romping through 25 acres of
lushious grass with a treed area and ponds to play
in. They love it. I am finally in my new place
getting the unpacking done and also psyching
myself up for my first day of school.
A new mare arrived yesterday, Sheza Poco Dot.
She's a red dun in foal to a palomino stallion
Bear Fax for early April 2008. It appears I am
going to be a little bit busy in April next year
with exams and foaling.
New pics will be coming-be patient.

| 1 month til moving day |
|
The new home has been found and we move the end of
August. It is gorgeous and the furthest north I
have since i was a child. WASHAGO!!! It is so
gorgeous up there-close to the water and the
Casino lol. And best of all-only a short drive to
school.
I can't wait to meet other horse owners.
Arriving the end of August will also be a new mare
or 2. I know I said I was cutting numbers down,
and I have, but these lovely ladies were too nice
to pass up.
Stay tuned for more details.

The season is winding down(finally) and all the
mares so far have been announced in foal. First
due in 2008 is Sunset(January), Roma(March), Tonka
(April), Lady(April), Bailey(May), Itchy(May), Jill
(May) and there is still a few stragglers to be
bred in the next 2 weeks. One just arrived on the
farm-a 16.1hh TB mare who performed well in
dressage and is CSH as well. Now that should get
a lovely HUS hopefully with colour. She has 4
white socks and a rather unique blaze.
Soon it will be time to load everyone up and head
off to the East-I have found a place NE of Elmvale
and will be there for the next 2 years while I
attend University classes at Georgian in Orillia.
It appears the people who were buying Levi have
opted out which is great IMO-mean sI get to keep
him. I have been contacting trainers in teh
Elmvale area and he will head for training in the
winter. At this point he will not be standing at
stud in 2008-the girls will instead be bred to
Glade Ima Gigalo-a colt I bred out of Tonka who
will be standing near Sudbury.

| update on Tonka's yearling colt |
|
I have been receiving some wonderful updates from
the people who bought Diesel(now Gigger)last
summer. Roch and Brenda have been showing this
gorgeous little guy and last weekend-his 2nd show-
he pulled home reds in yearling longeline, halter
stallions(actually got a trophy for champion!!!)
and a red in yearling in hand trail. What a great
job these two are doing with him. I will try to
get some updated pics on here as soon as I can.
Can't wait to get three of the girls bred to him
next year.

| Spring is offically here!! |
|
The weather has been just great. And thankfully
it has brought out lots of people to take
advantage of my massive reduction. Only 1 horse
left for sale and I will have reached my goal.
Guess it helps that they are all priced right.
Levi leaves for AI training Tuesday and will also
be collecting and storing frozen semen so that
next year he can train in earnest without worrying
about breeding. Plus most of the mares will be
visiting Diesel-now nick-named Gigger-for stud
duties in 2008. Quite an impressive selection of
ladies for his first year that's for sure. I've
been told his first show is this month in halter
and then he will be focusing more on lungeline.
Either way he should do well.
